Openserve order/installation delay. Nothing in 9 days

Ordered openserve fibre on 9 July and received a confirmation email from afrihost with order number.

Followed up via whatsapp on the 14th. Was told order has been sent to openserve installers and that they should contact me shortly.

Whatsapped then again today only to be told that "Please note the system could not place the order with Openserve. The order was only placed today. Apologies for the inconvenience this is causing". This was supposedly due to an "system error".

@AfriMan @AfriNatic whats going on? Will this happen again? I'm on a deadline here to have fibre enabled by month end.

So this can indeed happen. Sometimes the system places an order successfully but it gets cancelled later or it fails to place an order completely due to an address mismatch. In cases like these we can manually place an order.

Drop me a pm with your clientzone email so I can see what is going on and place a manual order if needs be or follow up on an existing order if it's been placed already.
