OpenServe patch cable

Not sure if this helps but this is what I found at my client's home after OpenServe installed their fibre *SMH*

The colour of the wire and color of the plug define what type they are

Snap a picture and take it with you to one of the patch cable suppliers and they'll identify the correct one for you

the label on mine says:

D-1-9-73/73-2-3 NDC
FSC-CMAX-A600
1550 IL0.04dB RL72.1dB

but my google-foo is failing me

WOW! what a terrible installation there, better get them back to fix asap :-(

The patch cord you looking for is SC/APC to SC/APC

If both ends have same connector as in picture, then yes. The supplier of the cable/fiber patch lead in picture is Dartcom

That fibre core is not going to last very long! Clearly the outer cable was not anchored properly, pulling the bit of slack in the termination unit out!

Why mess around with ropey suppliers? Go to Dartcom and get a patch cord made up specifically for you at the correct length with not too much slack or buy one of the standard lengths off the shelf.
