Openserve Slow - Bishopscourt/Newlands?

Anyone else experience slow (i.e. <1mbps) on openserve in Bishopscourt area?
Got an SMS saying openserve were dealing with something, but no idea on timeframe?
 
You need to ask your ISP to assist with a port recreate to resolve the issue.

Online Chat (all offline), Whatsapp support (nada... wait 30 minutes for someone to answer, then you don't reply for 2 minutes and they go off again)

Yes sorry for that. The call centre has a really high number of calls right now due to the ongoing issues with Openserve. Live chat function has been replaced by Whatsapp support.
 
Yeah my 10Mbps line is down to 3.42Mbps, my upload is faster. I'm usually close to or at top speed.

I'm in Meadowridge, which is near Bergvliet which is quite a way away from Newlands so it seems to be widespread.
 
What happened? why would a whole area go slow - I understand why it could be off (fiber break?)... but slow?
