Hi

So many ISP's out there, neither Cool Ideas nor Crystalweb is an option due to being over budget. Actual pure amount of traffic in a month MAX is probably 400-500GB. I'd like to avoid a high install cost if possible so currently I'm reaching out here.

Streaming via PLEX is a big deal, all downloads are done via FTP (Torrenting is done elsewhere)

In an ideal world Webafrica Home uncapped would mean no install cost and right monthly amount but I have lost touch with how uncapped accounts are.

Please help, thanks in advance

Hi.

I have a 20Mbps Open Serve fibre line with 10GB from ISP Afrika. I use the CrystalWeb 250GB Xtreme Home Capped with free unlimited data between 00h00 & 18h00. Works out to be less than R1000/month.

ISPAfrika do their lines really cheap, that's valid pricing. Their capped line bundles are only available on request.

I don't have full pricing but a 10Mbps fiber line with 10GB cap with them is under R500 , going by how the OpenServe line price trend with other ISP's seems to be R100 per bracket you go up you could assume that a R400 250GB Crystal Web account + 20mbps ISPAfrika OpenServe line should be just shy of R1000

Here's a breakdown of the costs

ISPAfrika Openserve 20Mbps fibre line with 10GB -R549
CrystalWeb 250GB Xtreme Capped - R379
Total R928.

I might just do a 40mb equivalent of this, would cost R80 more
