Openserves customer service

So i wanna know if anyome else has had this happen to them.
so i ordered my Fiber from afrihost on friday last week. after the weekend Afrihost confrimed delivery for tuesday. So i received a call from openserve about the technicians coming oyt on tuesday, and obviously someone made a mistake of not using google properly for my address, i corrected the address and was told i would recieve a call the next day about the technicians coming out.

Its Thursday and no call from openserve. so i decided to tweet about openserve not having contact details to query the statues of my order and received quick reponse on twitter and still no call about delivery when told the messages will be escalated still no phone call or any reponse.

my question is how lomg does openserve take to come out and why phone for delivery and then not respond.


really want the process to be finished and done, this is annoying as hell.

Some feedback from anyone of u about ur experience will be gratefully appreaciated..
 
When I ordered my Openserve line on the 3rd of February, they only came to install here on the 27th of Feb.

When they installed they told me they would be back either later that afternoon or the next day to come activate the line.

Come next Monday and they still hadn't came to activate it, so I called my ISP and they made sure that Openserve would call me and arrange for the activation.

They only finally came to activate it on the 6th of March, over a month later (which is well over their expected installation time of 3 weeks).

Long story short, don't expect too much from Openserve as they take forever to do anything, although I'm in KZN and everything is useless here so you'll probably have a better experience than me.

I ordered my line on the 26th December. The contractor called me on 4 January to install. He was busy 1 hour and when he left line installed and ONT activated.
 
Surprisingly, I've had nothing but positive experiences with my Openserve fibre line. Installation time was much quicker than the quoted period of 4-6 weeks. I see now that it says 1-2 weeks for new orders.
 
Mine was installed within a few days and never had a need to call them ever again after 2+yrs. I ordered directly via telkom though.
