So didn't get any feedback on here about Opentel. But went ahead and pulled the trigger. Unfortunately 2 neighbors conifers blocked line of sight for the install I wanted. But their sales reponses and technical responses were first world.
I also decided to use them after my query, I went for the 15Mbps down and 10Mbps up package. Spent R2K on the dish. The product worked OK. the download was more or less 70% of the 15Mb, on occasion I would get close to the 15. Upload however I rarely got above 4 or 5, and I wanted a high upload for online backup processes. Their support was very good and always eager to help, but I eventually went back to ISPAfrica in Feb this year, paid a bit more but got close to the speeds I wanted. Also, and this is just a personal preference, with Opentel, you connect via PPPoE, so the public IP sits on your router, so it gets hammered with crap 24/7, with ISPAfrika you get an internal non public IP so the noise is very much reduced to almost zero, I think its a result of double NAT or something, not sure what you call it, but I very much preferred this setup.
So if anyone wants a dish I used for open tel its available
