Just wanted to Basically let everyone know they cannot trust openweb, I cancelled my account on the first of may, but they do not reply, they do not respond, I sent about 5 emails to them asking for confirmation of cancelled account but nothing, the support consultant I spoke to was actually very rude, he tells me it takes more than 30 days to cancel.

In what world where I cancel my account on the 1st of the month does it still get debited 30 days later??!

I made a hellopeter complaint but it seems openweb never respond there anyway.
http://hellopeter.com/openweb/complaints/openweb-********-my-money-1736786

I tried to get the charged reversed but FNB denied it, even though I sent them the cancellation email as proof.

So basically there is nothing I can do, I will just take the hit, but all I can do is try let everyone know they can't trust openweb, scream and shouting is just about all I can do.

Technically you should've cancelled on the 30th of April if you didn't want to be billed in June still, or at least that is how the majority of the ISPs roll, because they require 1 calendar month and not "30 days".

Your fault. Next time read the terms and conditions you agree to before signing up for a product.

Some do and I avoid them: Openweb, Mweb, Webafrica.

Many don't: Afrihost, Axxess, Plugg, Crystalweb.

Normally you'd be right, but cancelling on the 1st does make that month a calendar month.
