Openweb broken?

I have the R19/gig account with Openweb. So far, performance has been TERRIBLE. Facebook will not load. Webmail will not load. Even the Openweb website takes ages to load. I have no downloads running, and I've tried restarting my router... no difference.

Is there something wrong on Openweb's side?
 
You sure the username/password is correct. That's many "not load"'s you have there.

DNS is set to auto already. I am on this site using my Openweb account. I can't access facebook, webmail, news24, and any of the other forums I subscribe to.
 
okay, so I tried calling, no-one picks up. Sent a pm to MrBeep this morning, no reply. Still no reply to the message I sent on the Openweb website last night.

I've recieved an email from Keoma, telling me to set my DNS to auto. I told him that it was already set to auto. I gave him my account details and he says that everything is full speed on his side.

NOT on my side. I still have limited connectivity! I'm now using an Axxess prepaid account, just so that I can see my emails! Everything works fine on the Axxess account. Almost nothing works on my Openweb account.

Try this....

Set your DNS to
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4


Also ask Telkom to reset your socket and test your connection from their side
 
My account runs at full speed. The problem is on your side
 
I have 5GB at R19 each and a Gold uncapped. Both are full speed!

I too have the 5gig @ R19. I will try speaking to Telkom, and getting them to reset my socket and test my connection on their side. I just don't understand why my Telkom and Axxess accounts are fine, but my Openweb account is not...
 
In the interest of Science, I decided to purchase a Axxess R19/GB 5GB account for the month of December. I then compared speeds on Axxess to my 5GB R19/GB Openweb account... Well, I get full speed (+-400kb/s) on Astraweb with Axxess, and roughly 6kb/s on Astraweb with Openweb. December will be my last month with Openweb.

BTW, my Openweb account finally started working properly in the last week of November. I changed nothing on my side...
 
Im sure openweb is going to fold due to the loss of your business! Wow! WARNING MRBEEP!!! You better apply for a loan!
