Openweb false advertising - needs to be taken to task

I know this has been discussed before but uncapped means no thresholds.

Think its about time its taken to the ASA.
Same with Axxess although they dont have a 30 day threshold

i've allready done a Me VS openweb uncapped bull****.

in the end it is only not uncapped when they totally stop your account (as the other case of solmatrix and their saix "uncapped"). that was the ruling in summary from asasa and ispa.

cases:
ASA Ruling - SolMatrix / D I Wise & Another / 9956
Open Web Uncapped ADSL / MB Deas & Another / 9690 (16 Oct 2007)

You know, we ALL feel like this.... but 95% of all uncapped offerings in South Africa have thresholds.... so good luck actually managing to get anything out of it.
But as you should know, shaping, connection resets and a few other things are buggered too.....

Oh yes.... and the uncapped offering in question..... OW also merely resells it from IS.... so they can't exactly do much about that anyways.

WTF dude its uncapped you can download ass much ass you want therefore its uncapped so telkom and any isp can do with there speeds as they want so then you must take on telkom for not giving and 4mb line when you only sync at 1mb and cant handle 4mb....

fakeuncapped is fakeuncapped. real uncapped in the sense of it comes without any limitations or restrictions. that's still my humble opinion, regardless.

I would guess as long as they state the conditions when they sell their package there's not a hell of a lot that can be done about it. As for the uncapped after hour packages they seem to run at full speed and don't seem to have any thresholds other then during working hours which is expected.
