My OpenWeb Gold 4MB Uncapped account for this month is performing terribly. This morning I emailed [email protected] about my issues - 'Do you guys have any issues because my 4MB GOLD UNCAPPED ACCOUNT is crawling between 56k modem and 384kbps speeds?'

Response - 'I appreciate your email. All is looking fine here'

Breaks my heart but after this month, while I've been with OpenWeb for most of the year, looks like I'll be looking for another ISP

To be honest neather side looked like much was explained, mrbeep is normally more than happy to look into problems if you explain in detail, it may be a problem on your side or maybe indeed something on there side that is isolated to maybe only your account, your exchange or something else! To kill a good thing because there may be a problem now(which from what you've said has been working perfect,y for the past year) is not worth IMHO, you should try figure ou what the problem is because you are not going to get much better than mweb/open web..

I agree with everything you said but if they could've been more helpful for the exact same reasons you point out also. I personally think it could be due to an increase in their subscribers. Oh well it was fantastic while it lasted. Big up to OpenWeb, because I won't find a better ISP I'm gonna have to change my internet usage.
