Openweb Uncapped Feedback

Done that already, effective 1st May.

I must say, I've been buying OpenWeb's products on and off since 2008, they always delivered on their promises. A few times there were niggles, but Keoma is always available and keen to resolve them, even if he has to take on IS #brandplus

which is more than I can say for Afrihost. Suddenly after their PR debacle, Gian is nowhere to be found when previously you could reach him on Twitter quite easily! #brandminus

+1

Just canceled with Afrihost and signed up with OpenWeb.....flying along....all I want for a 384 account is a reasonable speed....I don't mind an hour to download 100meg, I have gone for the gold account....OpenWeb. I think paying a little extra will be worth is to not have the headache I have been having. Thanks OpenWeb.

I just wanna report that I've been upgraded to the Gold package from the "original" IS uncapped package. And there's really a big difference!
I can now max out my 384k again!

It's a bit expensive in relation to the other uncapped packages, but it's really a great package non the less!

Signed up this evening for the standard 384kbps uncapped.

I must say your sign-up process on-line was quick and painless. Pro-rata would have been nice but I can understand that some users would then just sign up near the end of the month and go crazy, so rather not. Speeds seem fine, just doing HTTP at the moment though.

I had noticed similar issues with my line not allowing any nntp or torrent traffic during the shaping hours and little more to speak of during non-shaping hours. I noticed that http tho was super fast and used all of my line speed.

I mailed Keoma about it this morning and he promptly replied with a solution which seems to be working for me, so far.

+1 to Openweb (and Keoma) for super quick response.

What was the solution?

Been the weekend and all I thought my speeds would be up..

RS speeds are downloading at 30KB/s :(

This package is terrible - i'm moving over to After hours uncapped next month!
