I have the Openweb Uncapped Gold account and all day today I have had problems with connections being dropped every few minutes and download speeds averaging on about 15kb/s.

Anyone else having these problems or is there something I should attend to on my PC?
 
No problems on my side, service has been very good apart from the Sync Loss I have (which is a Telkom problem).

Are you on 512k or 384k ?
 
there can be an problem on your line 2, did you check your modem to see if your line does not drop?
 
I am not sure but if the adsl line is faulty then I think Netmeter or Windows will give me an error and it doesn`t.

Netmeter will show a "nothing to monitor" error and Windows local area connection will show a connection error.
 
not really if your line lose sync and resync then it won't show u need to look on your modem to see how long your line are up...
 
What testing have you done so far? Isn't it a bit early to jump the gun and accuse Openweb of being at fault? It could be your ADSL line that is faulty.

Have you tried using a different ISP?

I haven`t seen any accusations so lets move past that.

What tests do you suggest?
