Hi All

Tried searching the forums so if this has been answered somewhere dont flame me :) Friend of mine in SA is looking at going adsl, and i was shown OpenWeb by a few other friends. Their uncapped services look good, but can anyone shed some light on their shaping policies? p2p/ftp/other services. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for your reply but that post doesnt answer my question at all. I said I know p2p is shaped, and p2p generally means torrents/emule/limewire and the like. My question is, what else is considered as "p2p" by OpenWeb. If my mate signs up and tries to use ftp for instance, is this shaped? Thanks again for your help :)

it isn't just shapped, there is no p2p at all, according to them, I presume skype still works

[EDIT] why you not give them a call and ask them? or send them email? they usually respond the same day
