Evening all

I've just registered for the openweb vpn account and I have no idea of how to get going.

I have a premium combo router and I see that it does have vpn capability.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I dont speak manual.

Also I not received any details from open web on how to connect to their VPN, whats funny is that the payment went through almost instantly.

I have also recently purchased the VPN account. After 1 and a half days, my VPN account is active, but I am clueless.

MrBEEP (Keoma), as nice as a guy as he is, is unable to provide support beyond look at your router manual. That is my experience so far.

Currently my situation is trying to set up the VPN to work on 2 Windows XP SP2 computers connected to a Netgear DG834G v3 router (which does support VPN).

Keoma swiftly responded to an email that I would be unable to share the VPN connection using Windows ICS, however I could set it up in the router settings. I have yet to figure this one out, so I came here looking for some advice on how to do so :)

If anyone has had any luck with doing so, can they please post some information here?

Furthest I have got is setting up a VPN Manual Policy, but get held up at ESP Configuration where it asks for SPI - Incoming, SPI - Outgoing (Hex, 3 characters), Encryption type (DES or 3DES) with a key and Authentication (MD5 or SHA-1) with a key. Obviously I don't know any of those values. I will send an email off to Openweb again with this info, will post here for anyone else's future reference.

Thanks very, very much for this message last night. I managed to get hold of openweb and MrBeep helped me out.

I just want to say that I've never seen such excellent service from an ISP.

openweb FTW!
