Openweb=Worst ISP ever

Oh give it a rest you twat - you want blood from a stone. If you want and unshaped service then purchase one. If you want to download low seeded torrents all day long and expect good speeds then you can go fly a kite. How about you post a speedtest.net result from the account and then we can see.

I may just not be used to the fact that Openweb takes their time to respond to problems. Mr BEEP tried to explain away why they didnt attend to it in a timely manner. He lied on here giving reasons why he didnt respond earlier. Proof is he responded to my email almost the same time he responded on my post here.

Lol, don't worry Idi Amin. I actually believe you. Half the people here 'flaming' you probably work for OpenWeb, and as you said, Mr. BEEP replied to your problems only after reading this post on MyBB explains everything...a lot of companies do the same thing all over the world. They only pay attention once the problem hits a public domain.

Either way, keep fighting the scams, don't let anyone change your opinion...if OpenWeb is not performing well for you, LET US ALL KNOW like you did with this thread! This will help OpenWeb and future customers of OpenWeb in the long run.

So now that you're getting improved performance will you be sticking with the "Worst ISP ever"?
No. I will be offering to pay them a pro rata amount for the data i used, and the rest must be refunded.

Wow this guy's life must be very crap. Since I get great speeds with my account I can't complain. Just to come on MyBB and say that something or someone is the worst ever just because you had a bad experience is quite childish I'd say.

Keoma as difficult as this may be for you, I think you should refund this dude, wipe out his file and move on. It's okes like this that run businesses down on the net. They are a plague.

+1

OW has been nothing but good to me! Answered ALL my questions and queries AND resolved ANY "issues" on the same day. I sometimes wonder if they're open 24/7 because all of my emails were sent (and answered) after hours/weekends. So kudos to them. Unfortunately you just can't please ALL of the people ALL of the time.

And "yes" I work for OW, as well as ANY and ALL other companies that have provided me with excellent service and products! (BEFORE anyone starts throwing around the usual allegations of people "working" for companies that ACTUALLY provide good service. ;) )

I am with Idi Amin on this. I also have a 4M line, since I got this special 50G account, rapid and megaupload et al all dead, But I learned my lesson: It is "cheap is expensive"!

It's amazing how much flaming this dude has taken without getting personal - it really doesn't do anything for your case to insult him. It's not like when you call him a twat or ******** he's going to suddenly go "Oh, ok then, Openweb is awesome!" and move on. Try to be constructive :D

Personally, I'm happy with OW - MrBeep responds and he usually responds quickly for me. If he takes a little while to respond, so what? I measure the effectiveness of the account by total throughput and I'm still not paying a great deal per GB. Hope you get sorted or find the ISP you're looking for Idi Amin. It doesn't look like this is the one for you.

The flaming you see is out of context, posts have been deleted from the first page where he got very antagonistic and also levelled personal insults at Keoma. That's why he received such in return. Doesn't excuse either side really, as per forum rules, but this thread no longer tells the whole story.

Aaah. Douchiness begets douchiness.

I always hate it when posts get deleted rather than edited or locked. Throws everything off kilter.

I don't work for Openweb, neither are we family.
But serious peeps, Keoma _ALWAYS_ helps with a problem. OpenWeb does the PERSONAL thing, not the 'just another customer' attitude. And I can honestly say, I always get replied when I mail (during normal hours). I had the honor of speaking to a "real" ISP/NSP (network service provider) last week, after 25 minutes, I realised this agent does not want to speak with me or deal with my problem, as he told me to hold on, and never came back. Got the impression he is one of maybe 3 ppl in the CallCentre. Now aint that pretty service? Ignore the vustomer ... he will go away or die (sooner or later)!
So those who seriously have a problem with OpenWeb support, I suggest you pick a ISP randomly, move your account over, and stop BLAMING OpenWeb for your inability to understand how the SA internet works. Yeah, we have capping, shaping, contention ratios, bad peering, congested routes, and the list goes on. And if _anything_ goes wrong, 1st thing to get suppressed are torrents. And IdiAmin, if you really know something, why not queue your torrents to download after hours, when it WILL be faster, saving you the effort of flaming OpenWeb like this. We're still awaiting your speedtest.net results.
Remember: ATTITUDE is half of the solution to any problem.
