Hi Guys, as you can see, I'm a new member here and recently ordered my ADSL 384k line and an Openweb 3Gb+30Gb account :)

I was just wondering with reguard to local and international cap, if you surfed Local sites and still had an international cap left, would it use up your international cap before using local cap, or would it just use local cap.

It may sound like a stupid question, but I'm new to the whole ADSL thing as supposed to a 56k modem....

Thanx in Advance

Your bandwidth works in a linear form, starting with your international cap.
Any downloads will impact on your international cap. Only once this cap is finished will your local bandwidth kick in.

It will always use your international cap first, doesn't matter if it's local or not.

Thanx, I thought it worked like that, but you can never be sure ;)

Would be cool if it did work the other way though :D

Agreed. You could just get a local-only account as well as a 3gig international and swap between the accounts for downloading and browsing...
