this might be stupid but how do i do that,cause evertime in vista it asked me and i select yes but everytime its not.

You can set it manually in the Default Programs panel, should be on the Start menu or in Control Panel.
Otherwise you could try the settings in IE7, might be something to make it stop being the default brower. I'm back with IE6 on XP seeing as I never use IE anyway.
