i am using Opera version 9.63 and just downloaded Opera version 10, how do i copy my Bookmarks from the one to the other i think its called exporting/importing or something?

File > Import and Export > Export Opera Bookmarks

or

Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks > File > Export .....

Importing shouldn't be much harder lol, didn't look to hard did you :p
 
no i tried that but it gives me a file thing called Opera6.adr whatever that is.
 
Did you try importing that *.adr file into the other version of Opera?

File > Import and Export > Import Opera Bookmarks

You can also export as HTML, as the menu suggests, if you prefer.
 
that i have done but maybe i should sync it with my phone from the old opera to my phone then from phone to new opera.
 
the folders are named different for opera 10.

example : C:\Users\******\AppData\Local\Opera\Opera 10 Preview

where they were previously : C:\Users\*******\AppData\Local\Opera\Opera

its because it is an preview alpha version it has the extension "preview", once it goes full theyll name it the old normal way.

one work around is to copy the old folders from your old profile ( provided you have a backup ) into the preview folder. or else just wait for full release and import the bookmarks.
 
oh, i had a strange feeling that it was not ready for release yet. should i just keep it on my pc till the final release then use it?

It's alpha, so it's not meant to be ready for release. I just exported my Opera 9 bookmarks and imported them into Opera 10a like I mentioned above without any problem though.
 
only saw the message now, sorry man. i will try it tomorrow sometime to do that.
