[Opinion]: #MyNameIsNot that difficult

O she can fsck right off. Try having a german name and calling any type of call centre. This **** is the reason I learnt the phonetic alphabet.

I got the same problem and Simamkele can get off her high horse as I will pronounce her name before she will manage mine.

I've tried that, the problem is that the person on the other side of the phone has no idea what I'm saying.

To make no mistakes with other peoples names I just call all "Hey you".

I still want to find a person who can pronounce each and everyones name correctly.

Proof that globalisation does not work :p

Since selected international language is not enough phonetic language to represent sounds around the world, it fails miserably when it comes to terms with sounds not on alphabet. Poor choice indeed.

Since I am aware of latin phonetics (not English), I have no problems memorizing or pronouncing SA indigenous names whatsoever and some issues with English names.

Oh stop complaining, try having three names and being known by your second name ie; Name Name Name Surname...

And then setting your email address to be your 3 initials and then surname, ffs [email protected] would be easier to explain over the phone than that.
