Just btb, if your line has been down for a week, you are the only one to blame for not putting enough pressure on Telkom to fix it. How many times did you call? How many managers have you bugged? etc...

I usually get my line fixed in an hour if its down.

lol... You must be a Telscum employee.

I got a list of email address's off of hellkoms website last night and sent an email to every single one of them detailing the problem and threatening to sue them for loss of revenue due to the extended downtime. A manager called me this morning and told me a technician would be out here pronto to fix it. 2 hours later my line was back up.

And yes, I phoned on average 3 times a day over the last week. Only so much you can do via telephone.

Double... no triple LOL

So how much was your bill to phone them......or was it that Toll Free DSL number o whatever...I wouldn't know I just refuse to deal with Sel-kom

ye - toll free except from a cell phone. My entire line was dead so had to use my cell to call. Chewed up all 100 free mins I had.

Mike, the big problem is, that as soon as you allow the sh*t (Geldbom) in your house, it's like letting big brother in.

I refuse to have ANYTHING to do with Geldbom, because they have faaked up our economy badly, the chances of young internet boffins to make some good money out of a networked world (global village) and a chance for our children.

This is my way of 'boycotting' Melkhom - I've got a MTN mobile, iBurst for internet and NOTHING Telscum in my house.

That's how I like it.
