Option GlobeSurfe® ICON-please help

Hello, i have Option GlobeSurfe® ICON usb modem and apparently it should be able to use HSDPA as well but all i can get is umts. I reckon there could be some updates for software or something that i cant find so i would be very very thankfull if some1 could post link or any info about that. Those globetrotters are full of crap. Mine refuses to start working if it has not been jacked in and out of the USB port at least 10 times. And then it establishes a dead connection.

Try the software updates from the manufacturers website.

You may was well return the modem to whoever sold it to you and ask for a refund.

I don't think Vodacom is selling these Vodafone branded Globesurfer ICONs. V3G can confirm this. The link you provided and many other similar Chinese companies are selling refurbished modems. Is this modem ICASA approved and imported by a Option distributor?
