My 3G card worked perfectly with my Dell D810, but the new Option Nozomi HSDPA card does not work - it just says sim is not ready. There is nothing wrong with the card (or the sim) as it workes perfectly on the laptop at the Vodacom shop. I have even tried version 6 of the software. In my harware profiles it shows that something is not right with the hardware, I have spent hours on installing and uninstalling software. Please help

If u dont come right

You will prob. get more joy taking your notebook to the option dealer than trying to get Dell to help.

Try and disable other services such as bluetooth (suspect #1) or WiFi and see if it helps.

Assuming the card is OK, it's probably a resource clash. Try and select a different resource set for the device.

Updating the BIOS is always the first step, as ic suggested, but I suspect a resource clash.
