Optoma projector - source not found

We have a lovely little Optoma S312 projector which just suddenly began refusing to find any source. We've tried a couple of different of computers, as well as different ports (HDMI / VGA) and it just says "no source found" all the time. Does anyone perhaps know what could've gone wrong?

Are you trying a different cables (I assume you are since you tried VGA)?
I've had tons of issues with crap HDMI cables in the past.
