Hi everyone,

I’ve been left unable to log into my Oracle Cloud account, and after contacting their support, all they told me was that they "can’t provide further details." Since I have no way to access it, I’m writing that account off—despite the data loss—and looking to start fresh.

However, I’m running into issues when trying to create a new account. Has anyone successfully made a new Oracle Cloud account recently? If so, what needed to be different?

Specifically, I’d like to know:

  1. Does the payment card need to be from a completely different bank, or can a new card from the same bank work?
  2. Does Oracle verify addresses, and would using the same one cause problems?
  3. Is a different phone number required for verification?
  4. Are there other factors (IP, browser history, device fingerprinting) that might be causing a new signup to be flagged?
I just want to set up a fresh, working account and move on. Any insights from those who have done this recently would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Get a TymeBank account online or on the app and enable the virtual card. Eft or deposit like R50 and signup.

The TymeBank virtual cards aren't detected as virtual cards like other major banks. I did this with Azure also and works well.
