An exciting opportunity is available for IT Technical Specialist to join the the Retail Systems Operations area of TFG Infotec, focusing on Support of Distribution systems. Key performance areas:
• Performing analytical assessments and investigations - either to code, or business processes
• Ensuring that calls are resolved in accordance with the requirements of the relevant SLA
• Identifying and/or resolving root causes for issues
Requirements:
• A relevant tertiary qualification
A min. of 3-4years relevant working experience
• Proficiency in Oracle Database version 9 or higher
• Experience in PL/SQL, SQL Plus Programming, and Unix Shell scripting would be beneficial
• Proven working experience in the System Development Life Cycle (coding, testing and implementation)
• Experience in Retail / Distribution Centre processes and distribution / logistics
• Experience in end to end system testing (UAT, integration and volume testing)
• Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems and the implementation thereof
• Experience with Manhattan WMS would be beneficial
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Excellent listening, probing and documentation skills
• Professionalism
• To be a self starter with the ability to work independently
• To be a team player
• To be able to pay close attention to detail
• To be able to work under pressure
• Good planning and time management skills
• To be reliable
