Hey guys,

I hope this is in the right section.

Anyway my question: Is the store http://store.orange.com/za/ a reputable online retailer in South Africa?

Has anyone has used them or has anyone returned an item through them and if so how was your experience? :)

I am looking at getting a tablet through them but their prices seems to good to be true compared to other local retailers like takealot.

Yes they are great. Have bought from them numerous times. Even processed refunds, had things delayed. In all cases ended up fine. So go for it.

They are reputable... but service levels are iffy.

Heres my experience i've ordered 2 or 3 devices they get here fast, faster than you may think.
I returned 1 device after a month or two. They received it on the 7th of Jan today is the 23 of Feb and i'm still waiting on my replacement they will ship it today or tomorrow i've heard. Lets say I get the device next week that's a long wait for a replacement. But that's their policy they will try and fix the device for 30days if they fail they will send a replacement or refund but they will make you wait the 30days.

They will easily refund or cancel an order it's the longer term support that is iffy but it's not like service in our country is any better.

Thats just my experience use it don't use it.

Yes they are reputable.
Yes they are cheap.

Good luck getting your item delivered to you though. This is because of customs clearance (stuff comes from the UK?) and that they're always out of stock and need to import more.

Otherwise they're good.

They have a local warehouse in Johannesburg. If they happen to be out of stock it may take a while though. Their website don't always display accurate info.

Some people complain about their service, but they are reputable. In other words, getting a replacement for a faulty device may take a while, but it should always happen eventually.

They are good, and fairly timeous on delivery. They deliver what they promised, and refunds to happen where appropriate.

Just ... don't try to interact with them, or have patience if you do. I've not had an email answered within 2 weeks yet, and it often takes a month for them to get back to you.

Used them. Bought a PS4. The PS4 seems to work well. They even included a UK to EU power adapter.

Bought a few phones from them over the last couple of years. No issues....just have to be patient. Better than getting ripped off by the local providers
