Just wanted to share my experience using Orange SA to buy the LG G3.

"Order placed and paid for on the 30th of July. It's now the 11th of August and still no device. Emails only get answered a week later and absolutely no help from the call centre who seem to blame the courier company. When the order was placed, it took about 3 days for the status to change from "expected in 3 days" to "in stock"
only to somehow get changed to "expected in 3 days" again then back to "in stock". Then the device just sits at the warehouse waiting to be packaged. The courier company could not manage to pick up the device on friday (08th August) for some reason. It is now 16:00 on the 11th of August and the device is still sitting at the factory.

This is without a doubt the WORST service I have ever received from a company. Never again. I should've searched Hello Peter before paying R7025 to Orange SA."

I think the majority of people ordering from Orange lately are experiencing issues.

I'm also a victim. I was given a dodgy HTC One (M8) twice now. I'm waiting for them to send me an RMA form so I can get this one replaced.

Other than that, I would still get the phone through them, because they are the cheapest.
 
Did you have the audio problem? Crackling through earphones?
 
Ordered a phone dock from them in April. After two weeks they let me know shipment will take eight weeks. Luckily I did not pay anything yet and I cancelled. A loose reference to the CPA usually scared them off.
 
I seem to be one of the lucky ones. Ordered my phone the Monday night, received it the Wednesday afternoon. This was in June before the warehouse became operational in SA.
 
I ordered a Sony Xperia Z1 last Monday. When I ordered it, their site said "stock usually ships in 3 working days". Since then it changed to "6 working days", "ordered on request", "9 working days" and back to "ordered on request". Not sure if they're having supply issues, or just an issue with their stock tracking system.

This morning they finally let me know it's being shipped, so I'm hoping it will arrive this week.

What annoys me most is that they haven't replied to my emails in a week, even though they claim to have good customer service and 24-hour response time.

That said, the phone is significantly cheaper there than anywhere else, so I'll be happy if I receive it this week.

They seem to have problems lately. I ordered a Sony Xperia SP on 15 July and paid for it. Order changed to "in stock" before they finally cancelled it after 10 days. I was then asked to choose another phone and pay for that as well, whilst waiting for the refund from my bank.
 
Sigh, want to order a nexus 7 from them but now I don't know...
