Orange Store - HTC one M8

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone is having delivery issues when ordering the HTC m8 (I mention this specifically because it seems from the other thread people have been receiving their orders for other phones as the store predicted). I ordered a M8 this past monday. The site indicated that the delivery date would be upto 3 working days, the order also indicated that there are units in stock. I then proceeded to phone the call centre (as the status was "ready to be packaged" by Tuesday morning already).

The call centre indicated that it should be shipped out later that day and i would be issued a tracking number. By wednesday afternoon nothing had come through. I then phoned and the call centre indicated that my phone has been ready since Tuesday afternoon (at the Johannesburg warehouse). The agent then proceeded to tell me that the issue has been escalated (as no one could provide a date as to when the phone would be shipped or when i would receive it) since tuesday with regards to delivery. The status on the orange page is still "ready to be packaged". So I am curious if anyone has experienced the same issue? Additionally i have sent a mail to which no one has responded.

Very frustrating not getting any feedback:confused:
 
I think they've just moved a bunch of stock from the UK to a warehouse around JHB.

When I ordered mine in June, I received it about 5 days later (as a long weekend was in between). Unfortunately there was an issue with that phone, so I sent it back.

My replacement only arrived yesterday morning. Early Tuesday afternoon I received an email update from Orange confirming dispatch of the phone. On Tuesday evening I received an email from Supaswift with the waybill number.

They take a short while to respond unfortunately (I emailed many times requesting an update), sometimes longer than the 24 hours they say they'll take :P But I'm quite sure you'll get your phone soon. Even with the massive delay I experienced, I'd use them again.
 
Lets hope so, some good news, I just received a email notifying me that my order has been shipped, but no way bill number to track it sadly as of yet. Im guessing i shall receive it on monday now. I finally received a email response, which they stated they did not have stock (which contradicts the notification i got), so i then proceeded to ask why they said there was no stock, they literally copy pasted the same response and replied to my query .
