Orange Store opening specials in SA

Don't really trust them, but more competition is always good news.
 
I ordered my Lumia 640 Dual Sim LTE, online from them this past Tuesday. Will probably get it early next week.
It cost R2575.00 vat incl, delivered to my door. If I have hassles, I can drive the half an hour and get it sorted at the Claremont store.
No historical/traditional local cell phone selling shop can even dream of touching that.

Then after the doubtless success of this store, Orange is going to explode all over SA.

If Orange can keep up their first world customer service and support, along with supplying practically the latest gear as well as the best competitive pay as you go sim packages... Well, if I were the traditional cell phone shops, I would be very worried indeed.
 
Hope they improve their service, haven't bought from them but I've heard a lot of complaining around

They're mostly good, but as with any small footprint company they are weary of warrantee abusers. The costs of repair are not always recouped by their tiny mark-up, and not worthwhile to contract repair shops locally at those quantities. This should change now.

The complaints were mostly based on the fact that they were actually based in the UK, but didn't make it clear. So you had all sorts of issues with shipping and waiting times, etc

Now they have a brick and mortar store, so things should be much better now.
