orbitz.com for flights to NYC

The girlfriend and I are planning on going to New York in October/November. I found this site and the prices seems pretty good. If I take the price quoted on the site, it comes to about R500 less than the cheapest quote from flight centre. It's not much, but it's a better airline and stop over I think.
Anyone who has used the site before, are there any hidden costs I should take into consideration? Is my credit card company going to hit me with a crazy conversion fee?

Also, has anyone flown Egypt air before? How do they compare with the likes of Emirates?
 
You can also try skyscanner.net or kayak.com - pretty much the same concept as orbitz. They just scan all available flights from the airlines and shows you the cheapest option - doesnt cost you anything extra as you can simply book it through the airline directly.
