Ordering ADSL..... which way?

Going to order my ADSL within this month.

Question? Which is the best way to go about it? Phone, internet or going to one of their offices? I would think that going to their offices would be the best but what do you guys say. Also is the self-installation still available?

Go to their offices.
Get a reference number.
Self install is still avaiable. Anybody can plug in a telephone cable to a modem and a lan from the modem to a PC.

Let them right the refno down on Telkom paper, and sign with a date and name and Telkom employee number. Chances are better than 50% that you will need this for the upcoming fight!

Where can i go online or call to track it?

You should receive a call from someone at Telkom within a couple of days, and they will email you a welcome letter, which outlines the procedure for a self-install. You can call installations at 0800 456 786 to track the progress of your installation - Be prepared to hold for a loooong time. Call 0800 375 375 with any technical queries.
