Hi all

This may seem like an odd question but is there any benefits to upgrading online, on the phone with Vodacom upgrades or simply walking into a Vodashop?
Will I always end up getting the same deal from all 3?

Thanks

Sometimes they run online specials ... and they will void things like the sim and connection charge. I have seen complaints about people doing it online and then there is a problem and then they cant get hold of anyone or there are massive delayes etc etc. I suggest you just do it in the shop. If they have stock then you walk in and walk out with your phone.

You have been warned. I will flame you if post a complaint about the online route ;)

I did online uograde this week. Got 500mb free for 24 months, no connection fee and free delivery. Did it before 10am on Monday. Phone arrived Tuesday before lunch.

Was one small glitch but they sorted it for me asap .

Saving R202 rand and then scoring R99 x 24 months is another win for me

Warning received loud and clear :)

I have to say free 500mb a month sounds like its worth a bit of hassle.

Strangely if I call 082 1959 the prompter tells me I am able to upgrade on 1 September, however on www.vodacom4me.co.za I'm told 25 September. So perhaps upgrading online means I'd have to wait a month as opposed to walking in.

I signed up for a data contract online and everything was smooth sailing.

Courier delivered the router etc after 2 or so days, so not really next day delivery, but that was it.

I for one am a very happy Vodacom customer. Excellent data speeds ( Paarl & Bellville )
