Hi. Hope this is the correct forum. I am looking for original 8 bit Nintendo Nes cartridges. Super Mario 3, Track and Field. Mappy. Pool. Etc. Not the China Mall stuff. The Family Computer versions we all had when young. Any idea where one can pick these up?

Do you have the original NES or Famicom? Because while it was the same console the cartridge designs were different and thus were incompatible.

Got a Famicom. What is the actual difference? Would games bought on ebay work or do I need a converter or something.

The Family Computer (or Famicom), the Japanese version of the NES, utilize a 60-pin cartridge design.[2] This yields smaller cartridges than the NES, which utilizes a 72-pin design.[3] Four pins are used for the 10NES lockout chip.[4] Ten pins were added that connect a cartridge directly to the expansion port on the bottom of the unit. Finally, two pins that allow cartridges to provide their own sound expansion chips were removed.

There are converters available. All 3rd party though.
