I'm looking for some original research that might assist in putting the tinfoil of the world to sleep

Does anyone have a link to the original research that

1) Proved AIDS is caused by HIV?

and

2) That human activity cause global warming?

I want the information to be as original as possible; it can't cite mounds of references that "prove" its facts, otherwise it won't serve the purpose.

In essence, I want the original study that found those two things to be true.

Trillions of dollars have been spent based on those two facts, so it shouldn't be hard to find. I just couldn't find substantial material in my searches yet.

Well as far as i know it is a fact that HIV causes AIDS.

Secondly this whole global warming thing is not a proven fact as such but to me it seems pretty obvious we are destroying the planet. Global warming does not mean the entire planet will get hotter.

Arbiter, the real question is 'why bother?' The tinfoil-hat-brigade function outside of research and reason. No fact can be proven. It's all woo-woo, touchy-feely, 'like shoowhaaaw man, I'm so spiritual and stuff'.

Maybe. Maybe not. I haven't seen the original research yet.

I don't like picking sides and I don't like pointing people to a source that points to another source that points to another source et al ad infinitum.

I was also actually wondering whether there actually is an original research report on those two topics? I'm sure I've heard of it, but I'd like to see it personally.

After all, the world as literally spent trillions of dollars on those two matters. Would be pretty pathetic if the original research isn't even available.
