ooh that would be super cool. If 32bit linux can do 64gb im sure MS will not have a problem getting 4GB to work.

Sp1 according to the release notes does not actually enable a 32bit os to use 4 gig of ram. All it's going to change is allow the control,system properties,etc to display that the system actually has 4 gig of ram. The 32 bit os will still not be able to use all 4 gig's of ram, it still suffers from the limitations of 32 bit os.

So instead of showing what memory is available to the os it will show how much memory is installed.

they should use another balloon to say to, you have 4 gig mem but we will still only use 3gn, we make u see 4 so you feel better about yourself
