Mac OS X 10.6.8 is now available in software update along with Security Update 2011 004, server versions and some printer drivers.
Contains changes to MAS in prep for Lion.

I dont really see why Snow Leopard should be prepared for Lion when you will have the ability to do a fresh install.

Well I don't think you will have that ability actually. Anyway, even if you do, it's for people who do upgrade, which is the majority.

I'm seeing articles claiming that 10.6.8 enables SSD TRIM support for apple drives. Third party drive owners appear SOL.
