Is it advisable for me to upgrade to OS 6 on my own or should I take it into the MTN store in the waterfront and have them do it?

Install BlackBerry Manager on your PC/laptop and do the upgrade yourself. It's really very simple to do. When you plug your phone into the USB port with BB Manager running you can click on UPDATE and it will do all automatically. MTN does not have 6 available for the 9300 on their website yet so the store may well tell you to wait until there is an official release.

True, it looks awesome. Only crap thing is that the update switched my BIS off.
