Sometimes you just wonder !!!

I work in a payroll department and received this email regarding a maintenance order

bizarre

Payroll for justice dep? or other priv company?

Forward it to your boss if its relating to work assets... if priv, consult the justice dep with ref nr to find out what its relating to and/or dispute if req

Maybe I misunderstand ... was it a garnishee order that you forgot to deduct from the employee's salary and pay over .... or what ?

The garnishee order would have been delivered by registered mail or served by a sheriff of the court. If they have proof of the signed garnishee, then deduct. Otherwise not your concern...

I’m with a private company. I got this email from the department of justice regarding a maintenance order for one of our staff.

But check out the masterful use of the English language

The spelling / grammar is not all that bad. I have seen much, much worse.
