this has happened repeatedly ... in general they get to it within about 2 weeks ... but they won't even ack your e-mail requests ...

If you do get a response ... congrats and know that you're special ;-) grin
 
what response?

Yes- I called them and they asked for email... have had no reply to that... at least my own IP is not blacklisted, so life can go on.

But then again: if they reply, I will not get it, cause my mailserver checks for blacklisted mailserver... etc...
 
If you are able to do so, you can set your email client up to use your own personal outgoing mail server to send mail, thereby bypassing the Sentech mail server. This is not very difficult. Go to Tools, options, email accounts and find your email entry. Click on change, more settings, outgoing server and specify it to use the settings for incoming mail. Then change your outgoing mail server from smtp.sentechsa.com to eg mail.mweb.co.za or whatever yours happens to be.

mmmmmmmmmhhh I had a similar thing with spamhaus, contacted them and they said that the ip I was using had been used by someof these nigerian chain letter con artists and that is why it was listed!
