Outlook not syncing with email address

Hi all,

I have an email address in outlook that (although it doesn't show any errors while send/receiving) doesn't sync and deliver new emails into the inbox UNLESS I click on "Inbox" under the email and then wait for it to sync. This is very inconvient and definitely a "hit or miss" as I sometimes first have to click on "sent", and then back on "Inbox".
I have like a gizillion email addresses in outlook, and I have no clue why just this one is giving me issues. It hasn't always been like this.
Please help! :)

PS: It's on IMAP, and I want to keep it that way
 
I assume you're running Office 2013? I have the same issue here with two of six mailboxes. To sync them, I need to go into each folder and click Update. Pretty annoying, but, luckily, they're not important mailboxes.

Perhaps the only thing I can think of is creating a new Outlook profile and moving the accounts over, but not sure that will work, and not going to try either.
