I have outlook on my company phone with company portal.

Most of the time I need to reboot my phone to receive new email.

Sounds like sync is currently set to only take place at bootup, check in settings

Thanks I will look. I don't recall seeing anything like that but will go check again

Then it's not being managed properly. Talk to your company's IT department.
