Outrage as restaurant bans all vegans

More seriously this chef is completely in the wrong.

The person called and arranged a special meal in advance.
The chef agreed . mistake 1
He forgot to inform his staff. mistake 2
They overcharged the person for vegetables. Mistake 3

This person then has every right to complain on social media.

But seriously, sounds like vegans have to start their own restaurant(s), for vegans, and leave the rest of the restaurants alone that does NOT offer vegan options.
Don't be a eedjit when you go to a restaurant, make a huge noise about not having vegan options available. Just take your stuff, and find one that does offer vegan options.

It's the same as going to a hardware store, and then complain because they don't sell underwear.
 
I'm a vegetarian and i agree with the meat eating population about this - if you want a Vegan/Vegetarian meal then go to a dedicated Vegan/Vegetarian restaurant because you know that the chef is entitled to serve only people he wants to serve, because most of these places have a right to reserve admission and if he doesn't want you there then that's that ..... you can't go there

I generally avoid places that serve meat if i can because i know that they will be using meat or fish based stocks and fry stuff in the same fryer or grill stuff on the same griller as the meat/chicken/fish and use the same pots and spoons etc .... so if you are fussy you will land up offended or not eating anything at all - so go to your dedicated place of choice and be happier there - its your choice but it definitely isn't on to go somewhere and disrupt their way of doing things and to make a big fuss about their standard practices since they don't have the time for that ..... as for price - even veggies are very expensive nowadays and only people living under a rock or very deep in some really large cave would not know that - don't expect Vegan food to be a lot cheaper than the equivalent meat meal

Vegans veggies are the village idiots who can't fish or hunt. They are also poor peasants who can't buy meat or fish.
