Those publications have proven to be scumbags but I don't think they would even stoop that low. It wouldn't surprise me if one of the sleazy overseas papers post the photo though.
 
Hidden cameras is pretty common these days. So no real surprise that this has happened.
I have no interest and won't be looking at the picture.
What has been seen can never be unseen.
 
Lenin, Stalin, Kim Jung-Il, Eva Peron, Gandhi - you can find photos of all of them lying in state. What's the big deal?

Not going to debate whether taking a photo of his corpse is right or wrong but really, you stick a corpse of perhaps the most famous person in the world in the public domain and then wonder why?
 
Hmm, it's ok for thousands to come look at a dead body but looking at a picture of a dead body is not on.

the picture is a hoax.. busuinessinsider[dot]com has the pic as well as the original 1991 pic it was copied from. posted the link earlier, but my comment went for moderation and then got deleted. are links not allowed?

It's only creepy, wrong, disrespectful, disgusting and unthinkable to take a picture of his corpse. To stand in a queue for hours on end to see it in real life though is OK.

People are stupid.

The ANC ceremony that will be held at Waterkloof before the body is sent off

The body could go missing during flight

There could be violence between clans and cults at the funeral

Lenin is mummified by now, as he is still laying in state, And his mausoleum is creepy, right there, in red square...all the time. Even the people want him buried, but due to the old folk that thinks he shouldn't Putin doesn't want to do it. Jhia ni ponemeyo chuvak...

At least Mandela is only in state for 3 days.
