Is there an Outsurance rep on this forum? I am getting nuisance calls from Unknown Numbers from people claiming they are from Outsurance, wanting to sell me crap. I usually don't answer unknown numbers, but with my husband living overseas, some of his calls come as unknown numbers.

Please guys, desist, otherwise I will take it up with an authority. I know the call centre guys are just doing their work, but don't phone me every day, I won't change my mind. Also don't give me BS stories about a 'good friend of mine" that would like me to also take advantage of your "great" offers. That is a lie. I wasn't born yesterday. Stop it.

Get firm with them, tell them to fuk off and remove you from the database.

It is probably your friends that are giving your name up when they claim for their outsurance. Whenever it is due for my bonus pay out they phone me to tell me congratulations on your bonus and you can basically double the bonus by just giving 5 names of friends or family and details.

I always tell them to get knotted.

The "friend" they mentioned...I have never heard of him. :wtf: That's what riled me up the most.

LOL this is the problem.

you probably find that you had one meeting or association with him/her and your name and number was probably just in his phone and he just rattled off names and numbers to bump up his "outsurance bonus"

This is the reason why I don't give any names. I wouldn't want people to give my name to telemarketers and so I won't give any names even if it does benefit me financially.

I just answer, put it on the desk and continue working. They eventually get the message.

It's the bloody SMS's that annoy the crap out of me.

i have had this exact same thing, i have had a total of 6 calls over the past 2 weeks claiming that i filled in a form on the website to contact me back. I get an sms saying thank you for contacting us we will call you shortly! I am an outsurance client so why the *bleep* would i be asking for a quote on the website!

I would like to get this sorted out as well!!!
