Over two months - Still cannot connect

I have had my modem for over two months and I still cannot connect!
About a month and a half ago I spoke to a guy from Sentech who promised to send somebody to my area to check the signal. That's the last I heard.

My area is Weltevreden Park (Montana complex in Rooitou Street)

When I checked the coverage map it changed from a Partial connection to no connection. Instead of 'Good' 1st quarter it just says 'Good' in 2004.

What the hell is going on?

From what I understand the tower optimisations put us out of coverage to tower12. Some of the techies at Sentech may tell you that you are supposed to connect to Tower82 (Radiokop) but they don't have a NodeB pointing your direction... Oh well.

If you have a patch antenna/cantenna you could try pointing it towards tower12(Mintek)... I've been able to continue using my service....

If you don't come right - mail me off forum and lets see what can be done.

I'm in Montana. Had a signal problem a few weeks ago (could still connect though, but only just), came right a couple of weeks ago, still got three dots for signal. I'm quite close to the entrance.

I am not close to the entrance. I'm more to the center of the complex.

No idea - I use the XP dial-up connection...I'll check sometime.
