I'd put my money on 50k. Using a Raptor and some other essentials in my specs (no dvd-rw, k/mouse, LCD)
 
Does'nt HP & Voodoo have some astronomically highly priced super fast desktop? :)

They do, but they also have some astronomically high priced super -markup on their products.
 
And re the questions about air coolers, the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme is probably the best, but it's huge and you have to still buy a fan. I would go for the Zalman 9700 cooler, or if you're on more of a budget, the Zalman 7700 cooler, which has a 120mm fan.
 
Dunno. I haven't heard of it. But all the reviews I've seen of the Ultra 120 Extreme have definitely said it's the best.

as 4 voodoo pc and others, they do charge allot but they alo put in alloit in the pc. saw one with 2x9800gx2,x9775, 8GB ram, water cooled for all 4 gpu and 2 cpu. 1.6KW PSU, 4 drives for raid (redundency n performance :o ) and terabyte storge x2 cost over $8,000 which i the price of a fairly good car :/

No way you can justify such an expensive on $50 game
