Cilliers Prins broke the world record fo overclocking with his E2180. It runs standard at 2.00Ghz and he overclocked it to 3.66Ghz. He is using Gigabyte 3d Power Pro air cooling. His CPU runs at 66 degrees on load and 32 dergrees on idle. He ran 3dmark on loop through the whole night that he overclocked it and it was still fine in the morning.

So if any of you can beat that you own the world record!

What motherboard was he using?

3.66ghz is the max for the Pentium E's :) 3.67 and the PC wont post!

Anybody have any links where i can review or buy this "Gigabyte 3d Power Pro".

CoolerMaster HyperTX2 is the best bang for your buck cooler!

3.66 on the 2.0 is pretty impressive. Has someone taken the 9550 and testdriven it into the clouds yet? That I would love to see...

Skulltrail has a front side bus rate of 400 MHz (1600 MHz QDR), and was demonstrated with two 45 nanometer High-K processors running at 3.2 GHz. During IDF, a 4.0 GHz phase cooled Skulltrail system was demonstrated. Then on October 22, 2007, the two processors were demonstrated running at 4.4 GHz, water cooled. They were demonstrated again on October 31, 2007, this time running at 5.0 GHz, phase cooled. On April 18, 2008 Tom's Hardware, reporting from an Overclocking Enthusiast site, reported that an overclocked speed of 6.006 GHz was achieved on an 8-core Skulltrail setup.
