What ping do you get in Overwatch and on what ISP?

162 - 165ms average.

Overwatch is odd. They have EU servers in Amsterdam, Paris and Frankfurt and they randomize each time you queue especially if you are from ZA.

Just to correct myself here. Here is a list of regions.

They used to have AWS Bahrain but have since changed to Qatar Google Cloud so that is why we no longer get Middle East by default in Battle.net games because Google JHB to Qatar is 230ms so it defaults to EU.

Yes you can always try Warp. They now have a low latency route that they control between JHB and Madrid which might be favorable and it's free or you can try something like Exitlag or Mudfish which are paid for gaming services.

You can try Singapore also. Its around 116ms or so to Singapore.

Actually, since I have been playing a bit it seem it's Google ME 1 which is Saudi Arabia only. So set your exitlag to SA Dammam01 and you shopuld be sorted.

Servers are nice a full with the new update. Mostly Middle East servers.

For those on pc you can check your server by pressing

Left Ctrl + Shift + N to see the server and network stats

[gmec2] = Saudi Arabia Dammam
[ams1] = The Netherlands Amsterdam

Damn been having a blast on Overwatch 2 recently.

btw for those that want a cheaper alternative to exitlag you can use https://mudfish.net/

It's like R70 for around 40GB or so of gaming traffic and doesn't expire. They have decent node that allows low latency to UAE and Singapore as well as EU.
