I'm not going to give Blizz any money for the game, this new model is really predatory.

At least in OW1 you could earn cash and buy some skins. Now you have to pay a lot for the season, and again next one etc.
 
Gave it a shot.
Never tried the first one.

It's okay for about an hour then gets stale.
I don't see myself still playing this by next week.

Do OW1 purchasers have any benefits or will those players also suffer from the same model?

They just transferred your old characters and skins over, so you still have them available, but after that you now have to pay for the same seasonal unlocks.

There are some free stuff, like maybe 1 in 5 tiers you'll get a the same freebie as everyone else, for example a voice line or a spray or whatever, but most of the cool stuff is locked away.

Anyone got a solution to avoid Middle East servers? I'll take the extra ping in exchange for better quality matches and lower queue times in EU
