I don't think using your R10m investment allowance for this is actually legal (hence the reason for the pricing differential).

I have heard that the SARB is allowing this, or were a while back. If your tax affairs are in order you can apply for your allowance. I tried at one point and my tax guy said it would be unlikely and that you would likely be required to take your 10 bucks off in one tranche... but apparently that is also not a requirement. You can circulate 100k until you reach your limit if you want.
